I would like to wire a toggle switch (on-off-on) to my FMM and speed meter gauges, so that they would be able to stay on when either engine is running. Right now, these gauges are only activated by the starboard ignition switch. when the port switch is turned on, the gauges are not active. Could someone tell me what wire from the switch or is it from the tach that activates the gauges ?

thanks

thanks for the reply.... any chance that when you have the time, you could get me the part number. How does that effect the voltage reading on the speed gauge. Is it still only going to show that of the starboard motor ? My main concern here was to allow me to see that the port motor was actually charging the battery. I appreciate your time
