Repairing Cracked Transom

im wondering what would be the best way to repair this transom. im doing all the work by myself as this is my first boat and would like it to be personal. any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to iboats.

The fiberglass is just cosmetic........ I imagine the transom is rotted and soft. It appears as if you will need to do some transom surgery.

RULE 1 NEVER cut the outer portion of the transom away from the boat ;)

You will probably need to un-cap the hull and work from the inside out.
