Idle on 120 hp

My Idle was pretty low on my 92 120 ldrive. So i put new plugs in to see if that helped and it didnt. I turned the screw in on the tower and it helped it out. Still not to 750 in gear but close! My questions is...does the line on the cam need to be dead center of the roller or is that just a "Factory Setting"? Thanks.

That is the factory "start setting". I recently learned this as well. After your motor is set up, it will not be there.

Make sure your carburetors are opening up all of the way at WOT. Remove the carb covers and check them with the throttle control in WOT.
