exhaust water exiting outdrive

first i have no impellar in outdrive ,gm l6 with raw water pump on motor fwc system, now running on hose today i noticed exhaust water exiting prop hub aswell as the intake louvers on each side of outdrive what area would cause water to leak from intake (water pump cover)? thanks for suggestions

does exhaust water splash over top of water pump?
