Mercury Reverse Problems

I have a 2006 200hp Optimax. When putting into reverse with a decent
rpms when docking the motor rises out of the water. Also notice motor is
not quite fully raising all the way up so tilt lever can be engaged.

Ok well I'm assuming you have power tilt trim. I can also assume that your power trim tilt is not trimming all the way up or down. I would assume that you have a hydraulics problem or a rotted or cracked bolt that keeps the motor from jumping up when going into reverse.
