need throttle and shift linkage diagram

Can anyone help me find a diagram for the throttle and shift linkage on a mariner 40 with external hookups. i need to know what parts attach to the brackets that are on the side of the motor. not sure what year. #'s 40 BE 676 BL 406529. thanks

never mind found a boat at a gasstation today that had the same type of motor with the external throttle and shift linkage and it was all hooked up so i took some pic's of it.
