Oil squirted out while the engine was shut off?
I'm guessing you mean that the crankcase is very much over filled to the point that oil runs out. I would also speculate that the oil smells like gas. If so then the problem is the fuel pump.
Search the forums. It seems to me I have seen comments about a defective fuel pump causing an engine to "make oil".
