Putting a new drive gear on my Bosch starter, decided to pull the unit apart to check the brushes. For reassembly, the OMC manual states to put a drop of 10w oil on the armature shaft and to lube the pinion helix with Anderol 766.
What the heck is Anderol 766? Google was not much help, other than the product appears to be 25 years old, about the same age as the boat
