Hi guys I have a 1991 Glasstream 192 Regatta with a 4.3l 2bbl Alpha One.My current prop is a Turning Point Hustler 23p.The boat is not jumping up but planing out decent.Wide open rpm is 3800 to 4000 max.Anything above 3500 it feels doggish.I just ordered a Turning Point Hustler 19p from Iboats.Have I made the right move for better perfomance out of my boat?Any suggestions would be great.

That 23 pitch is way too much for your application. You should be happy with the 19 unless you pull a heavy single skier.

You should be very pleased with that Prop. I had one on my previous boat, very solid performer. Also agree with above 23 is waay to much prop. I run a 21 and when the oem prop needs replacing I am going down a notch or two as well.
Good luck

I havent recieved the new prop yet but did get to take the boat out and get some solid numbers with the 23p loaded with wife ,son and everything that goes with them..Kinda slow hole shot (bow seems to get pretty high) 3000rpm cruising 30mph gps WOT 3800rpm 40mph.Shure hope this 19p help out and not kill what little bit of top end I have now.

That 19 will give you way better hole shot & it may give you more top end. But where you will really be saving is wear on the drivetrain. Your 23 is making it lug. Everything is working too hard. The 19 will probably allow you to get to 4200 or 4400 RPM which is I think correct for that motor.
