anyone using a garmin 441s gps/opinions?

Thinking of getting a 441 as my old (very old) gps bit the dust. Went to west marine and tried it out on display, seems nice and easy to use. It is available with a sounder as well, which is what I would get. Anyone have any opinions on this one, Or any alternatives, which seem to be few in this price range, (about $500).

I bought a GPS 440 a couple of years ago. The obvious drawback is the small screen size, however, the picture quality is pretty good, and it is pretty easy to use. The only thing I do not like abut it, is that it will shut off in rough water. I cannot find the cause for this, however, it could be the wiring in the boat that supplies power to the GPS.
