Hey all, my brother has an older Mercury 150 HP and he is trying to find out what year it is, he called me and gave me the following info;

serial # 10G9020171B10303

I think it is mid to late 70'2, problably not much newer.

That number is no good. Got too many numbers there. Check again and repost.

The number should be either 7 digits, or a '0' followed by a letter then 6 digits.
