Did you try ebay?

It doesn't help that you omitted your model number.

Re: Need a motor for the power tilt

reason you cannot find one, is, the 1973 135hp Johnson, was not equipped with Trim N Tilt. someone has added the unit, and no way to tell what it came from.

a picture of the unit would help identify.

Agree, need model #, so we can identify they the motor you have.

1974 has TNT.

the motor is not available. search ebay. http://www.crowleymarine.com/johnson-evinrude/parts/29456.cfm

Re: Need a motor for the power tilt

The units that were sold in 1973 and earlier were tilt only. The PT&T units were introduced in 1975 and had motors of two different manufacturers. The three motors are not interchangable, so it's important to determine what you have.

If you go to the on-line parts catalogs and select "OB Accessories" at the drop-down list where Evinrude is the default, you should be able to navigate to your unit and get a part number. http://www.evinrude.com/en-US
