I just want to double check a torque spec. My manual says 12 ft*lbs for the main crankcase to cylinder bolts and 5-7 ft*lbs for the smaller bolts around the perimeter of the crankcase. This seems a bit on the low side to me, so I want to be sure that I'm reading the correct numbers. I have a feeling that maybe the bolts can't be much tighter because it is soft aluminum that they're threaded into. Again, I just want to run these numbers by somebody who has put one of these back together. Thanks.
