Anyone have any experience using 3M One Step Aluminum Cleaner?

Several threads recommend using Aircraft Stipper (to remove paint?) but y V12 has no paint, but her finish is dull, oxidized, and scum stained.

I applied Westley's Degreaser with the scratchy side of a sponge, and lightly wet sanded the hull with extra fine grit emery cloth. The small area I did turned out bright and shiny.

Thanks!

Re: Aluminum cleaner

In the Duratech site gallery, you'll see "Colby's" Duratech...he used ScotchBrite pads to get that brushed aluminum look you see. "Brian's" Duratech underwent finer and finer grit of wet sanding, and then lots of Mother's aluminum polish with lots of elbow grease and rags. Just a couple other ideas for you.
