I have a reconditioned prop and the paint has worn off on the first outting. What is a good brand to use?<br /><br />Wasn't worn off from hitting anything, it had crappy paint to begin with.<br /><br />It's an I/O prop 14.25 x 21" aluminum "Black"<br /><br />Thanks<br /> G

The manufacturer-applied paint is the only that really keeps.<br /><br />Making DIY last is close to impossible.

Rustoleum makes a special primer for aluminum. It might help your paint job last longer. They also sell and professional "Industrial grade" of paint that may also help.
