I have a 1979 Evinrude 70 HP outboard on my 24 foot pontoon. Currently the captains console does not have any engine gauges and the starter/throttle unit is mounted on the pontoon fence.
I would like to find some controls that would allow me to move the starter and throttle to a console mounted unit, and add in some gauges.
I am struggling with finding an instrument package that will work with my 1979 outboard and where to find the right cables/parts to make this change. Does anyone have any suggestions?
