my new 40 hp mariner! what year is it?

can anyone please help me. i dont know what year it is and i need to purchase a new prop for it. the only serial numbers i can find are
6E9 L 413505. this was on the motor. i couldnt find one for the prop, or do you have any suggestions for a prop? thanks for the help
