How to check cooling system?

I have got my new motor in and running. Curious not to make sure every thing is getting cooled "manifolds and motor" what is the best way to make sure water is flowing? Also can't get the new motor to idle but seems to run very well off of idle. I did try messing with the timing and cant get it to idle on its on!!!


PS thanks for getting me through the rough times to all i boaters.

i just put it in and ran mine and watched temp i dont know if you you can on the muffs.
