Re: Boat seats

I have these on my Trophy.

Don't make a mistake like I did and get deluxe helm seats (WD007) with arms. Although more comfortable, they make it too hard to walk by the two chairs and get to the cuddy, and throttle/gear control also bangs the arm when shifting into reverse.

Hey Guys,
I have a trophy 2052 and wanted to get an adjustable height seat post. when you replaced your seat did you replace the post? are those screws or bolts holding the base onto the deck?

Re: Boat seats

Yes, I replaced the pedestals too. You know this was one of the first things I did to my boat a few years ago and I honestly can't remember now if they were screws or bolts. I remember taking the pedestal off, taking it with me to the store to make sure the hole pattern was identical. I know I did not need access from below (obviously), but can't remember if they are screws or bolts that had inserts in the deck. To look at the heads, they look like bolts.
