I've currently got a Zodiac 12' that has a small leak in the bottom that eventually leaves me with 2-3 inches of water inside... very annoying.. I'm looking at ditching it and getting a Sea Eagle 124smb (http://www.seaeagle.com/MotormountBoats.aspx) Most of the time it will be just me or one other person along with fishing gear on rivers and lakes, however, I would like to be able to take it near the shore of Lake Michigan when the Salmon are in. (Not very far out, only as far as the piers go, but in some other areas trolling around the shore.) I know the guy who sold me my Zodiac used to do that with a 5-10 hp motor... do you guys think I'd be able to in the 124smb? It's a newer model and I'm having a really tough time finding reviews of it!
