Just got our new pontoon and told the dealer (Carey &Sons, Granbury TX) I would post photos. It is a different style pontoon and we are having a blast on it.

That is one Beautiful Boat! I love the style. I think it is more of a pontoon yacht. Did you name here yet?

Re: something different..our Avalon Ambassador

Thanks for the nice notes....she is an outboard and her name is "Slow Rider" .. and yes, we did the ceremony to name her too!!!!!
We used to have a cruiser on a deep lake, but we are now in a shallow lake so we wanted all the features of a cruiser on a pontoon....so, with a few things added, we did-- or should i say the dealer did, they were wonderful!

That is a really nice looking pontoon boat. The extrior looks like one of those old '50's dinners.

I really like the deck. Now I have to rethink that carpet we just put on.
You'll surely get a lot of compliments on her for years to come!

Thanks, yes the teak was the first thing we requested on her and wouldve been a deal killer if they couldnt. We love the feel of it and it is so very easy to clean. That is the one feature we get the most compliments on.... We added a potty and changed the front seating on one side (like the avalon sandbar boat). We boat year round and so needed a few more creature comforts!

That is NICE!!!! I really liked the sandbar model with the recliners in the rear. However, those were way out of my price range. I didn't even see a model like yours in the books. Must be something new in 2010?

What motor did you put on her?

What's the length?

I just bought a Tahoe pontoon (Made by Avalon). I thought mine was nice, but compared to yours, mine is an entry model. :)

Dkrager --- Yes Avalon makes a great boat! CONGRATS on yours!!!!! yes this model is 2010 and just added to back cover of the new books. We put 225 Honda on her so we could ski/tube...she is heavy though, so good thing to have a big engine...model says 27feet but with the motor on, she is over 30---sticks out of the slip (30ft) about a foot. This is our first pontoon and we are really enjoying it!

Hey Maharg- they run $45-75K depending on various add-ons/tweaks. Dealer was fantastic and very creative- they have a great raport with Avalon's engineering guys.

Re: something different..our Avalon Ambassador

Thanks Boss Hawg- LOL!!! Our kids have pretty much moved on and we've "busted our rears over the years". We wanted a boat that we could recover from after decades of being our kids taxi service and chief cooks and bottle washers. In other words, Mom and Dad are long overdue for some 'slow rides' on the lake and a few tasty cocktails! We can't complain though- our three daughters are all good eggs- we're just ready to PLAY!

Beautiful Boat!!!!!! Congrat!!!!!!

I think the Wood floor really makes it special, but I have a somewhat biased opinion!

Enjoy your Slow Rides!
