Hi all, my first post, just a question on my Johnson 15 Hp 1956 model FD-10S.
What is the meaning of that "S" at the end. From original parts lists I can see very few difference between FD-10 and FD-10S other than the pull rope handle and the gear case. Anybody knows for sure? Cant seem to find any FD-10S anywhere on the web or spec sheet that would help. Had the engine for 15 years fishing a couple of weeks a year but it sat for 6 years. The old faith full got me home all the time. Now that I am retired I would like to restore this old friend and take it back fishing.
