I just bought an 1970 Glastron V-176 for $100. I would like to know what kind of horsepower I will need on the back to pull a skiier??? I have an 35 hp but know it won't go faster than 5mph with that, so I am trying to start looking for a good used motor with enough power to push the boat and pull a skiier.

"SWING into the FUN REVOLUTION with the Glastron SWINGERS."

Maybe I am reading to much into this?.

or maybe I am just dating myself.

Didn't mean the same thing in 1970

swing?ing (swngng) Slang
adj.
1. Spirited; up-to-date.
2. Attracting a lively, trendy crowd: a swinging nightclub.
3. -- the other thing ;)

Re: What a deal !!!

I am pretty sure "swinging" meaning wife-swapping started from the upsurge in sexual activity during the sexual revolution of the 1960s.

So this ad that came out in 1970....printed in 1969....I dunno....just saying.

I think its pretty funny.
