Engine is a 1976 75hp johnson.
Just wondering what the best way to run stereo power on my unit would be? obviously i do not want to just hook up to my one and only battery becasue then when i shut down the boat and listen to some tunes the battery will go dead. is it possible to run two batteries, both hooked to the engine so they get charged, but have an isolater (i think thats what its called) so that the stereo only takes power from one battery, and the other one is left only for starting? or would this be very hard on the boat charging system?
ps: im only running a deck and 2 6 x9 speakers, nothing fancy. (yet)
