Remove the outdrive, drain the gear lube, then do a pressure test to find out where the leak is exactly. Use a spray bottle of soapy water on the drive after pressurizing to around 15 psi. The bubbles will tell you where the leak is.

Im going to make a pressure tester and see where it is coming from. Already ordered the sierra waterpump rebuild kit so hopefully it could be one of the waterpump seals. Do you think it is okay to take it in the water like this? or will water enter the drive?

Ok Found where it is leaking I think its the shift shaft seal??? What parts do I need?
