72 Johnson 65 hp kill switch install

Did a search and didn't really find anything directly involved with my motor. Got a 72 65 hp hydro electric that I'm putting on my 'toon. State law says it has to have a kill switch. I am getting a hydro electric control box with key in the coming day or 2. Is there a way to run a kill through the box to the dash easily? I could maybe relocate a new key switch to the dash too, as there is a spot for it, but want to follow the KISS routine, yet hopefully avoid running wires all the way to the motor and back. I'm not electric and mechanical declined, but its hot out, so wanna be able to do as little as possible. :p Any guidance on this? Thanks
