New here.. glaston gt 150?

Hi I'm new to boats. I grew up with jet boats at the cabin. So I've always been partial to them. I found a I think it's a 76 glastron 150 with a berkley jet and a small block chevy in it.

The boat was restored he said 4 years ago. It has vinyl seats that are cracking.
The owner told me if I buy it he will put naugahide on them for me. I thought it was a original sbc and jet drive but I haven't seen any on the web. I grew up skiing behind this boat and I always wanted to own it now I have my chance but can't find any info.

He is sending me pics tomorrow I will post them as soon as I get them. The boat is Plum crazy purple with white interior. It's pretty hot looking.

I guess I'm just wondering if it is a stock boat or did he build it? I haven't seen the boat in five years But I know he said it's a glastron gt the same as the james bond boat.

Well, Plum in color makes me think it's a 1974 or 1975 CV16. I have a 74 with an outboard though. I don't believe Glastron made a jet GT. I may be wrong on that though. Take a look through here, it's the GT page. scroll to the bottom to get to the next year.

Okay so sorry no pics yet. The engine was rebuilt two years ago when the boat was repainted.

He just called and he told me he thinks its a cvx18. I'm really new to this boat stuff what is a boat like this worth?
