1991 fm 141 tiller value help needed

I have a chance to purchase a Sea Nymph 1991 fm 141, 9.9 Honda 4 stroke, with trailer. The motor needs to have the impeller replaced and the compression is perfect. Does anyone know a ballpark figure of the value so I can make an offer. I looked up the used value and got a price of about 1,000. Since the motor needs work would 500 be an insult?

I don't know if it would be an insult, but I suspect it would be immediately rejected. If the combo is in good shape you'd be very lucky to get it for $1,000. If the Honda 9.9hp is a newer engine it's worth more than that alone. Do you have any pictures of the boat/motor/trailer combo?

Here is a picture of the boat. The trailer even has a winch. The boat has electric start, running lights, battery, and new Hummingbird fishfinder. He has no idea of even a ball park price. He is getting to old for boating and just wants someone to enjoy boating as much as he did. It is in very good shape considering its age. Marine said about $100 to fix impeller.
