I have an 89 searay 190 that I have recently replaced the trim sender/limit switches on. The manual tells me to trim up till the cylinders are at 20 3/4 in. (generation 2 model) When this is done the outdrive is showing about half way trimmed on the gage. Then I can hit the trailer switch and bring it the rest of the way up.
Should the power trim show movement all the way trough the gage, down to up? Or does it only read about half way and then the rest when the trailer button it pressed. Also the limit switch will not shut off in the down position.
