I put a new battery in my boat and the switches will work but the the motor will not turn over and the tilt switch will not work, seems like no power to the engine, Help please
Loose or corroded battery cables (the big ones). Blown fuse in the engine. Your switches work because they get power through the "boat" harness. The gauges, engine, and tilt system get power throught the engine harness and that fuse I mentioned. You did connect the cables to the correct battery posts -- right??
