SUZUKI DT140 (1986) 1800 rpm at idle!

Hi All

Just recently, without any tampering to the engine by myself, my idling speed is higher than normal at approx 1100 rpm. After running the engine (which runs beautifully), I have to fight the throttle to engage neutral. Once I have neutral, the rpm is way up at 1800-2000 rpm. While being service one month ago, the engineer adjusted something (forgive my lack of technical ability when it come to timings, idle speeds, etc) as the engine seemed to be running 'too rich'. As the engine appears to run at higher revs perfectly, could the resolution simply be down to an adjustment to a cable? Please tell me it is! Many thanks!

Colin
