Hello, I have a three cylinder 70hp 2stroke nissan on a 24' pontoon boat. Tonight when we were out on the lake I had an issue with the boat not wanting to come out/sticking in drive. The handle on the remote seemed to stick and then let loose, but when we got ready to leave shore the boat was stuck in reverse. So I pulled the hood and checked the shift lever on the side of the motor and I could manually put the boat in drive. I tried to check the remote cables but I cannot see or tell if they are broken...I got home and pulled the screws on the back of the remote/throttle box and the cable at the bottom of the box is not moving...I know the throttle cable is working because once I got the boat manually in drive tonight I used it to power us into shore.....so some guideance or help would be great I'm pretty new to this whole boating thing but I am very mechanically inclined.
