From the image you see three damaged parts:
1. Dentent Spring 0911962
2. "Ears" from part 3
3. Shifter 0322938
4. Magnet from upper fill plug
Looks like a fairly simple repair. All bearings look in good shape. My question is what caused the damage?
When it happened I was going forward just above idle. Let off the gas (hotfoot) and went to reverse. It did clung a bit hard. Then I could not get it out of reverse, I thought I was going to have to reverse back to the ramp. Finally went into neutral then forward.
