seahorse 87cc 2 cylinder

I have recently purchased my first inflatable dinghy with a Johnson Seahorse 87cc, 2 cylinder engine,model J4BRCNR and B019773 serial number. I would like to know the HP of the engine, I also need to buy the 2 knobs for choke and timing etc, cant get the shaft to lock in place, can i download a manual for this?

any help appreciated.

It looks to be a 1982 4hp....don't know where u can down load a manual..but your better off with the OEM one by OMC.. the after market ones will not help you..look on ebay for a manual ..or Ken cooks...some one will post the link to Ken I lost it...

You have a 1982 Johnson 4 Horsepower motor.
