I recently removed the lower case to replace the water pump. Now that its back together the shift lever does not work, its stuck in forward.
How should I have reassembled it to have the shift lever and shift rod change the gears correctly ? What gear should it be in before reasembly ?
How can you tell if its working right before bolting it back up ?
