Which way is Mars?

I hear it's going to look as big as the moon in end of August. I should be able to see something I think. Which way is it if I look out from my house? I'm in London, Ontario, about half way between Detroit and Michigan. Is it low to the horizon?

I have a pos Bushnell 660 telescope which doesnt work past 90 times magnification but I'd like to see it

Take a left at the Moon and go a few million miles and it is the only red thing on the right , You can't miss it . ;)
