Got talking with my wifes stepdads son-in-law, so well just say my brother in law. :D LOL He was at the house this weekend and saw my Holiday sitting out back and said his dad was going to be selling the one he has, he got telling me about and I told him he had to send me pictues of it before they got rid of it, so here they are. His dad was the original owner and what you see is how it came from the factory according to him. Thought Id share the pictures with you guys, I got a little goose bumpy when I opened them up. Too cool.

Our local Marina Dealer sold on consignment a 18 SS in mint condition like the one you have for $7,995.00. To the first buyer that took a ride with it. It did have a newer 90 HP E-tec motor on it. I paid $ 4000.00 for my 22 holiday 4 years ago that was in VERY good condition and thought it was a steal at that price. Location will mean a lot to set a price as you know. Back East there penneys on the dollar. Id tow that sucker all the way home to here if I was interested. With a 22 and a 16 SS,do not need any more boats. Good luck someone will buy it for what you ask but only during boating season. The boat was a 1978

Just got off the phone with my BIL, said a guy drove over from Detroit and bought the boat for $4000 from him. He was pretty happy about that considering they where talking of listing it for $2500 till I told them to aim a little higher. Guy that bought it said he had been looking for 10 yrs for a boat just like it and the boat was the nicest he had seen.

Very nice boat!!

The merc on it is exactly like my merc 100HP, now you can see why I am so keen on keeping it... really is a sharp motor and boy does it move! The paint scheme is green like my boat as well... hmmm...

Thanks for sharing!

Not sure what the plans are, the boats are his dads but they live across the street from each other so its a joint venture. They have another boat they are putting up for sale that was their "daily driver" (not a starcraft), after that they will be boatless.

Like i said earlier our . our local Lund DEALER ASKED AND GOT $7995 FOR A 1978 18 ss IN EXCELLENT SHAPE. YOUR FRIEND SHOULD GET TOP DOLLAR FOR THAT BOAT, BUT IT WILL BE A GOOD BUY AS IT IS TURN KEY READY FOT THE WATER. Sorry for the caps but I hit it twice and did not want to type this the third time.
