Just bought a 1985 90hp mercury with powertrim. Hooked up motor ran great then 1 weekend after motor will not run. Checked spark I have no spark anywhere! Please help!

get the repair manual that is specific for your motor. it will tell you how to test your stator, trigger, rectifier and your ignition coils with a volt meter. probably one of these is bad and not allowing the fire to be sent to your plugs.

also make sure the emergency kill switch thing didn't get activated (bumped by accident or something).
