Merc 140 trim issue.

I think either my switch or the solenoids are bad on my trim.

The trailing button (which I dont know what it is supposed to do) only clicks.

The trim down clicks on what sounds like the solenoid, and up does nothing.

Is there a way to send power straight to the motor bypassing the switch and solenoids to test?

use a jumper from the battery to the blue motor wire(up) or to the green wire (down)
check your messages

Got it working somwhat

Motor was seized up, so took it apart and used a drill to turn the rotor in it while lightly sanding the end of the bushings to free them of corrision. So it works now.

The trailer button will raise the prop and the trim down button works so thats good for now.
