Fuel / Water Seperator Installation

Purchased a Sierra F/H2O seperator kit, installed it, but can't get a constant fuel flow. Pumped and pumped. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Sometimes the threaded fittings have small air leaks. Put some teflon tape on the threads. Put some oil on the rubber seal of the canister, as well.

Sounds like air is escaping from somewhere. Try the teflon tape suggestion and if that doesn't work check the gas line and bulb for leaks, cracks, holes, etc. Tighten all your fittings as well. You may also try re-tightening your fuel/water seperator....don't be afraid to make sure it's tight but don't gorilla it on. Good luck!

I use a Loctite thread sealer on my fittings, and I crank down on them pretty hard. Another thing. Install your primer bulb between the separator and the engine. Keeps the crap that is filtered out of your fuel tank out of the bulb...
