My brother has a 2.3 omc that blew up last wknd, He is wanting to keep the boat but can not find a engine. I found a 2.3 from a ford ranger but not sure if it will work? the ranger engine is a lot cheaper, can i use just the block and bolt the rest of the stuff back on. also the ranger motor is fuel injected. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks
