My husband and I are in the process of refurbishing an old Fiberform boat. It has been used by my family for the last 30 years and has been very good to us. Hubby ripped out all the carpet, we are going to have it Ryno-lined! When my hubby ripped out the seats we discovered that the wooden frames are completely rotten and need to be replaced. The black vinyl is in perfect condition but very hot so we would like to have a different color....any suggestions on whether we should rebuild these seats or order new ones? After looking around, I haven't found anything that resembles the back to back seats that we have...they attached right to the side of the boat.

Thanks

Ayuh,... Welcome Aboard,....

If the Hubby is Handy enough to fab up new plywood for the seats, you could use the extisting covers as templates to fab up New Upholstery for it...
That's about the Only way to get an exact match...In a different Color of course....;)
