Mercruiser trim blows fuses above idle speed- HELP FAST PLEASE!

So yesterday I was out on the lake and noticed my trim was dead. I jumped the solonoids and it works fine up or down, but the inline 20a fuse is blown. I replaced the fuse and everything worked fine at the dock and when leaving the no wake zone, but as soon as I hit the trim button to trim it out once its on plane (at speed) the fuse blows right away. All the wiring up to the switch looks fine. Any ideas what this could be? the perplexing thing is that it works fine at idle speed but as soon as i get it goin faster it blows the fuse...

the control wiring thats wrapped around the handle may be grounding out.

Yeah that seems logical to me. Where would I get a new trim switch?

The wiring the makes 3 turns before it gets to the switch is most likely chafed, not the switch
