I just bought a boat and engine. The engine will turn over but there is no spark. I am assuming that both coils cant be bad. So Im down to the cdi box or the magneto. what is more than likely to go bad. Thanks for your input. Jim
id check to see if you were getting power to all your electrical parts check your wiring fuel fumes from today's gasoline's are very bad for insulation on wires
you might have a short somwhere or a bad connection on your controll pigtail
