i have a 50 horse v 4 evinrude on my boat. a golden jubilee. model#50816 starts and runs grate,but after i went to the lake it is now gitting hot if i start it in my yard with a hose and ears for water.runs for about 5 minutes before it dies. then wont star back up tell it cools down. any one know the part # for the enpeller,water pump,and ware to buy it.or is this my problem the boat sat 5 years before bought it . already restored interier and transum. i would like take kids fishing this summer but have no idea how to fix my problem.:confused:

Hi You can get the parts right here at this site. Go to Evinrude parts and enter your motor info ie ser# & hp. and you will find everything you need.
If your motor is not pumping water then the best place to start is with the water pump. Get the kit and a manual if you don't have one and fixer up.

Ron, A standard flush device will not work on that motor. Do you have the device that clamps on the water intake above an dbehind the prop?
