reverse lock valve question

I have manuals 3,engine and 6,outdrive and cannot seem to find this anywhere in either manual.Mine is leaking and I changed the o rings but before i put it back on the boat I would like to look at a blowup.There is a concave waser in the bottom that doesnt seem like it should be where it is.Any help greatly appeciated.

You need manual #4 for the drive and trim pump.
