A friends 80's ish 115 Merc got no juice to the starter solenoid "start" yellow wire when the key was turned. It worked fine a few hours ago. I can jump the soleniod and it will turn the motor over. The ignition switch is on the back of the throttle control. Also noticed was that the trim button on the side of the motor wasn't working anymore. Didn't have tools to take the throttle control off and check neutral switches or the key switch. The wires from the throttle control are in a conduit back to the motor. All look ok. My guess is the problem is up front as opposed to in the motor. Any thoughts?
