First time boat owners. Took a maiden voyage and all was fine accept a dead battery. We brought the battery home ans charged it. Went to connect the battery and we crossed the cables. Small spark, no smoke and no burning smell. But of course we can't get the motor to start.
We looked for m elted wires and can't find anything.
We tried to jump the motor with the car and nothing.
Were do we begin?????
