4.3l cobra vortec v6. been stored for years and new to me.
#1 engine turns kinds slow. rebuilt starter as it was bad and have oiled the cylinders. Seems to drain battery VERY quickly. starter does not get hot. New battery.
#2 checking spark..and its good and bright BUT its more orange red vs BLUE. Points and condensor look VERY VERY good. took some emery cloth to the cap and stuff anyways. Battery was charging but.......Being that spark not bright blue will she not be able to spark or recheck after battery fully charge.
on another note. Battery new and registers 14.75 volts but not alot of cranking power for a very long time. its a 975 cranking amp battery if I recall....will the battery register 14.75 even when its been drained a bit and does not turn motor as fast??
