1958 johnson 35hp. I have rebuilt carbs, new plugs,new coils,condensers,points, and have set carbs high speed 1 turn out and low speed 11/2 turn out from seated. Ican prime buble and choke it starts then dies, push choke in pull numerous times and when it finally does crank it is reved a way up. If i have to much oil in the gas could it cause this? I have notice quite a bit of burnt two cycle oil coming out a small hole above the cavitation plate on the prop. Please respond with any thought or ideas.
